ROSWELL, GA, January 20, 2023 – Destinee R. Hood, DMD, has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. Drawing on over five years of expertise in the field of dentistry, Dr. Hood specializes in cosmetic dental care. Since 2019, she has found much success as the owner and dentist of Roswell Dental Care. In this capacity, she is responsible for Botox and dermal fillers treatments and general oral care. Dr. Hood initially began her career undergoing general practice residency training and advanced education in general dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia.

Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Hood pursued an education at the University of Georgia, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science in 2011. She continued her academic efforts at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2015. As a commitment to her field, Dr. Hood has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Well regarded for her contributions to the field, Dr. Hood has been inducted in the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2023. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of her team at the Roswell Dental Care practice, which was originally owned by Dr. David Remaley, who mentored and helped her achieve her goal of enriching the lives of their patients through their superlative oral care. Reflecting on her career, she attributes much of her success to her mother, who raised her as a single parent and instilled in her the value of education. Looking toward the future, Dr. Hood aspires to expand the scope of the dental services offered to patients and hopes to mentor and contribute more to her local community.
